We remain committed to protecting our families and employees by creating a guide that will help prevent the spread of viruses

employee guidelines

  • Staff will follow illness policy including temperature checks and 24 hour wellness standard.
  • Staff will wash/sanitize hands prior to/at the conclusion of and between classes.
  • Staff will avoid direct physical contact with children whenever possible (spotting is limited to necessity).
  • Staff will be diligently trained on procedures and prepared to enforce any distancing protocols.
  • Staff will adhere to PPE requirements if set by the Local Board of Health.
  • Employee travel will be monitored and isolation following travel will adhere to MA Board of Health recommendations.

 

building prep

  • The entire gym has been and will continue to be sanitized with Covid killing disinfectant.
  • Individual labeled hand sanitizers will be given to each team gymnast.
  • Individual labeled chalk bags will be provided for each team gymnast.
  • Water fountain has been removed. Children encouraged to bring their own water bottle or purchase one for $1.
  • We have added hand sanitizer stations throughout the gym that will remain full.
  • Touch free faucet/Paper towel dispenser will be installed in the bathroom.
  • All surfaces will be disinfected prior to opening and multiple times throughout the day.

 

drop off

  • Drop off will begin no more than 15 mins prior to practice.
  • Please remember to drop off in leotard with minimal additional clothing as the changing room will be closed.
  • If you are not attending practice please email Jacqui@boxboroughgymnastics.com prior to start time so our coaches are not waiting outside for your gymnast to arrive.
  • Only one gymnast at a time will be temp checked by our staff and allowed to enter the gym.
  • Please follow the cones and stay in your car until it is your turn to be temp checked.
  • Any gymnast with a temperature of 99.5 or higher will be sent home.
  • Gymnasts will sanitize hands prior to entering the building.

 

during class

  • Gymnasts will sanitize hands after each rotation.
  • Coaches will disinfect/sanitize all equipment, and entry points.
  • Stations have been modified to omit partner activities.
  • Stations have been modified to omit the use of as many props as possible.

 

 

after class

  • Gymnasts will be dismissed one at a time immediately following their practice/class.
  • Parents are asked to stay in their car during dismissal.
  • Gymnasts will be dismissed in the order their parent/responsible person arrives.
  • Please make your child aware of who will be picking them up as this will make dismissal easier and more efficient.
